What is Boron Nitride? Boron Nitride is a high performance ceramic material that is known for its electrical insulation, chemical resistance and thermal conductivity properties. It is commonly used in lubricants, aerospace and electronics applications. Boron nitride typically has a very fine particle size that leads to frequent agglomeration of the powder and this combined with its lightweight nature can make sieving boron nitride a challenge. Traditional vibratory and ultrasonic sieving machines often lack the energy needed to deagglomerated the powder and can quickly blind the screen mesh leading to poor sieving.
