Elcan’s Experience: Sieving PA11 powder is a process that Elcan has been able to streamline using our advanced line of hi-sifter sieving systems. Sieving PA11 is a process that is done most efficiently through the high energy approach to separation. Using the hi-sifter, PA11 powders are elevated inside the screening machine by this vertical energy on the screen. This prevents the powder from blinding the screen since it is never afforded the opportunity to blind the screen. The result is cleaner cuts and higher efficiency rates inside of the sieving system. Separating PA11 powder at 53um on a high energy screener will allow companies to obtain their necessary spec without having to do multiple passes of the powder.
